Cat Duval has been practicing yoga for over ten years and practices hatha, vinyasa flow and partner yoga integrated with positive visualisation techniques.
She is particularly interested in the restorative and rehabilitative capacity of yoga. She trained at the Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala as a Hatha Yoga teacher completing 350 teaching hours and attained her 200hour teacher training qualification with the Yoga Alliance in Jan 2010. Since then Cat taught in India, Bali, The Philippines and New Zealand before returning home to the UK to live in late 2011. Since then Cat has been doing classes in St Anne’s Wells Park, Moulescomb Leisure Centre and Home. In winter she furthered her training completing Unity Partner Yoga Teacher Training course in March. She runs beginners-intermediate courses and specialist workshops including for the LGBT community, Mum’s and babies and yoga for runners.
She integrates Unity partner yoga, hatha, NLP and creative visualisation techniques into her teaching and adopts a warm tone and dynamic energy in her style. She is inspired to explore the journey of collaborative techniques, exploring our fears and limitations through maintaining a light heart in our practice and combine it with the power of visualisation techniques. She currently teaches in Brighton and London but is open to get involved in teaching workshops and retreats internationally.
