I went to my first yoga class 18 years ago and got hooked. I have practiced regularly since – primarily Ashtanga, but also other yoga styles.
I passed the acclaimed Life Centre/British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) teacher training course, having previously studied Ashtanga teacher training with David Swenson in America, and completed the BWY teacher training foundation course in London. I am currently undertaking a Postgraduate Yoga Teacher Training Course at Unity Studio.
I teach mainly Ashtanga yoga – in classes, workshops, and 1-to-1. Ashtanga is a dynamic & powerful form of yoga, following a set pattern of postures, though I often add in extra ones in my classes. Ashtanga builds up strength, stamina and agility and helps to focus the mind in a moving meditation. I have been learning the second, intermediate, Ashtanga series for the past six years. I try to teach with knowledge, humility and humour!
