I love the creative, dance-like nature of Vinyasa Flow yoga; I first discovered it several years ago after exploring various other styles, including Hatha and Ashtanga. Initially drawn to yoga as a way of relieving pain in my back and neck, I began to really appreciate the calming effect of connecting with the breath and energising the body. I am continually inspired by all the different things you can learn and find out each time you come to the mat.
Fulfilling a long-standing desire to share the rewards of yoga with others, in 2016 I completed my 200hr teacher training with Vidya Heisel at Frog Lotus Yoga International in Spain. This followed a year travelling in South America where I had the wonderful opportunity to connect with yoga communities and teachers across the continent, including an eco-community and yoga centre in Colombia.
Since returning to the UK I have led Vinyasa Flow classes in Brighton, and continue to deepen my own practice and knowledge by regularly attending retreats, workshops and classes around the country.
My dynamic alignment-based yoga classes are open to all. The sessions focus on using mindful movements to help us explore and feel well in our bodies and mind. In a friendly and supportive atmosphere, I encourage participants to grow in their practice and confidence.
