Featuring Brighton girl and regular at Studio iO, Danielle Timms and her new ethical clothing brand.

Active Therapy is a luxury ethical clothing brand handmade with organic fabrics. From dance, yoga to high sport the brand aims to give you daily strength.

The brand was formed from the love of being active and the joy it can bring (therapy).

All garments are handmade locally and fabrics are sourced ethically to create sustainable products. The designer worked in fashion production for many years before completing MA (Master of the Arts) at the London College of Fashion in innovation. This manifested into the development of the brand and the exploration of the business-to-consumer experience. Helping you live a active lifestyle.

The brand aims to stay as environmentally friendly as possible by using natural fabrics (bamboo, hemp & pure cotton) and recycling pattern paper and fabric remnants. The double- stretch bamboo fabric is very silky to the touch and so is smooth and soft next to the skin. It has a good weight and so drapes beautifully, falling rather than sticking. Bamboo is an excellent choice for year-round clothing – because of it’s microporous structure and natural breathability it keeps you cool and comfortable in hot weather and warm and cosy in the cold. It is also 100% biodegradable and is naturally grown without the intensive use of chemicals.

As each order is handmade locally, please allow a week for your order to reach you. We like to create high quality garments and support sustainable fashion (rather than mass production) so each order is made for you!
