Katie is a fully trained Nutritional Therapist and Yoga Teacher based in Brighton. Her practice began as a teenager, initially drawn to the strong style of Ashtanga and the creative ‘Free-Style Yoga’ taught by her teacher. 13 years on and she has developed a passion for Vinyasa Flow, appreciating the way flow yoga brings freedom in the body and loves the meditative quality of moving with breath.

Katie studied Alignment Yoga, where she learned a yoga practice that included various styles, with a focus on Iyengar and emphasis on Alignment and Yoga Therapy. With Katie’s personal practice and passion being in Flow Yoga, when studying she wanted to learn more about alignment to bring balance to her teaching. This has brought grace and strength to her classes and she is inspired to bring that same energy to others.

Katie’s interested in yoga’s ability to build strength and awareness within the body, both physically and mentally. She believes in the connection between the mind and body and through this comes grounding. Katie employs yoga as a powerful vehicle to true health in the body and mind and with this comes the clarity of being mindful and understanding our true selves.

Through a dynamic and creative flow yoga class, Katie invites her students to switch off from daily life, stretch out and move the body and spend time grounding and connecting with themselves, in a safe and caring environment where everyone is welcome.
